Winter Training
Winter reps that build game-ready players.
Great players are built in the offseason, one quality rep at a time.
Train with purpose. Compete with confidence.
Catchers U® winter programs are built for baseball and softball players who want focused, high-quality offseason training. Our winter options give athletes the chance to improve position-specific skills, build confidence, and prepare for spring competition through structured instruction and purposeful repetition.
From catchers working to sharpen receiving, blocking, and throwing, to players building stronger swings, to younger athletes developing all-around fundamentals, each program is designed to meet players where they are and help them keep progressing. Families can choose the training path that best fits their athlete's goals, experience level, and seasonal needs.

Catching Program
Our winter catching programs are designed for baseball and softball catchers who want complete development behind the plate. These programs focus on the technical, physical, and leadership skills catchers need to perform with confidence in practices, bullpens, and games.
Winter Camp is divided into three phases so families can choose the most comprehensive path or join the phases that best match their athlete’s needs. Players may attend all phases for full progression or select specific phases based on skill level, timing, and goals.
RBO Camp (Receiving and Blocking Only) is a 6-week intensive program centered on the essential foundations of receiving and blocking. Catchers train in both traditional and one-knee-down stances while developing better setup, glove presentation, body control, visual tracking, mobility, game management, and leadership; throwing and pop-time work are not included in this phase so athletes can focus fully on receiving and blocking mechanics.
RBT Camp (Receiving, Blocking, and Throwing) builds on the RBO foundation by adding throwing to bases. Over six weeks, catchers continue refining receiving and blocking while learning footwork patterns, throwing mechanics, transfer work, and arm-care habits that support both performance and long-term health.
Season Prep Camp is the final 6-week phase and is designed to get catchers ready for game action. Athletes continue to sharpen receiving, blocking, and throwing while receiving feedback that helps them carry their training into bullpen work and real-game situations with more confidence and consistency.
Hitting
Our winter hitting programs give players focused offensive training built around quality repetitions and sound mechanics. Athletes work on swing development, timing, approach, and confidence at the plate so they can step into the season more prepared for competitive at-bats.
Fundamentals University
Fundamentals University is designed for youth players who need broad, all-around development. This program covers the core skills that help young baseball and softball athletes grow, including throwing, fielding, movement, game awareness, and general offensive and defensive fundamentals.
