Event Description

Fundamentals University™ Youth Pitching Program focuses on building proper pitching fundamentals from the ground up: mechanics, consistency, and arm care. Athletes receive elite-level coaching and detailed feedback designed to accelerate development and build confidence on the mound. Led by Joe Vogatsky, Matthew Boyd, and Ben Riddick, the 10-session Fundamentals University™ Youth Pitching Program gives young pitchers consistent, week-to-week coaching to build habits that last. Meet Coach Joe Vogatsky: -Professional pitcher in the Boston Red Sox organization -14th-round MLB Draft pick - Pitched collegiately James Madison University -Warrenton, VA native and graduate of Kettle Run High School Meet Coach Matthew Boyd: -Collegiate pitcher at the University of Mary Washington -All-C2C Honorable Mention and two-time C2C Pitcher of the Week -Graduate of Patriot High School in Bristow, VA Meet Coach Ben Riddick: -Played collegiately at Chesapeake CC, Lackawanna College, and Marymount University as a pitcher and catcher -Graduate of Osbourn Park High School in Prince William County, VA Dates: Saturdays, January – March (10 sessions) Session 1: Saturday, January 9th Session 2: Saturday, January 16th Session 3: Saturday, January 23rd Session 4: Saturday, January 30th Session 5: Saturday, February 6th Session 6: Saturday, February 13th Session 7: Saturday, February 20th Session 8: Saturday, February 27th Session 9: Saturday, March 6th Session 10: Saturday, March 13th Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm Ages: 9 – 12 years old Gender: Boys & Girls (Baseball Players) Price: $600 per player (includes all 10 sessions) Location: Catchers U® | 6781 Kennedy Rd., Suite 7, Warrenton, VA 20187 Topics will include: Proper pitching mechanical development Command of pitches Arm care Mental approach and mound presence Bullpen sessions with live feedback Equipment Needed: Pitchers will need gear, including athletic shoes and a glove Water bottle For questions, please contact training@catchersu.com.
