Fundamentals University™ Pitchers & Catchers Summer Camp Led by Jack Ferrick (Catchers U®) and Travis Ferrick (Division 1 Pitching Coach), the Pitcher and Catcher Clinic is an unique opportunity for pitchers and catchers to work together to improve the players through personalized feedback, drills, and situational training. Meet Coach Jack Ferrick: - Co-Founder & CEO of Catchers U® - Over 18 years of experience in the Northern Virginia area - Graduate of Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, VA - Collegiate player at United States Naval Academy - Previously coached at Colonial Forge High School, Freedom (Woodbridge) High School, and Osbourn Park High School Meet Coach Travis Ferrick: -Led Wright State University staff to conference-best ERA + 500+ strikeouts -Top 25 nationally in shutouts -16 All-Conference players developed -Has coached multiple MLB Draft picks and developed numerous pro-level arms -Built record-breaking pitching staffs at multiple D1 programs Date: Tuesday July 7th Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Grades: Rising 6th - 12th Gender: Boys & Girls (Baseball Players) Price: $125 per player Location: Catchers U® | 6781 Kennedy Rd., Suite 7, Warrenton, VA 20187 Topics will include: Catchers (Led by Catchers U®): -Receiving, framing, and blocking fundamentals -Game management, communication, and leadership behind the plate Pitchers (Travis Ferrick): -Proper pitching mechanical development -Command of pitches and development of off-speed offerings -Mental approach, mound presence, and fielding the position Combined Catcher-Pitcher Work: -Bullpen sessions with live feedback -Catcher-pitcher communication and pitch sequencing -Building battery chemistry and in-game decision-making Equipment Needed: - Catchers will need gear including athletic shoes, helmet, glove, chest protector, and shin guards - Pitchers will need gear including athletic shoes and glove - Water bottle - Snack For questions, please contact training@catchersu.com.
