Fundamentals University Middle and High School Infield Clinic Led by Jack Ferrick (Catchers U®) and Matt Wojciechowski (Division 2 Infield Coach), the infield clinic is an opportunity for infielders to get feedback, drills, and situational training. Meet Coach Jack Ferrick: - Co-Founder & CEO of Catchers U® - Over 18 years of experience in the Northern Virginia area - Graduate of Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, VA - Collegiate player at United States Naval Academy - Previously coached at Colonial Forge High School, Freedom (Woodbridge) High School, and Osbourn Park High School Meet Coach Matt Wojciechowski: • Assistant Baseball Coach at Ferrum College with previous coaching experience at Roanoke College, where he also served as Recruiting Coordinator. • Former collegiate player at Chesapeake College and Roanoke College, bringing firsthand experience from multiple levels of college baseball. • Virginia native with a strong background in player development, recruiting, and building relationships with athletes looking to compete at the next level. Date: Wednesday July 8th Time: 11:30am - 1:30pm Grades: Rising 6th - 12th Gender: Boys & Girls (Baseball Players) Price: $125 per player Location: Catchers U® | 6781 Kennedy Rd., Suite 7, Warrenton, VA 20187 Topics will include: • Proper infield footwork, glove presentation, and body control to improve consistency on every play. • Ground ball fundamentals focusing on routine plays, fielding angles, and creating a repeatable fielding process. • Advanced defensive work including backhands, forehands, and difficult play execution under game-speed conditions. • Proper receiving techniques and tag application work focused on footwork around the bag, securing throws, and making quick, efficient tags.
