Fundamentals University Middle and High School Hitting Clinic Led by the Fundamentals University™ development staff and featuring guest instructor Matt Marsh, the Fundamentals University™ Hitting Clinic for High School Players delivers a 2-hour, high-level hitting experience built for serious athletes. From the creators of Catchers U®, the clinic utilizes proven development methods to help hitters better understand their mechanics, refine swing efficiency, and develop a repeatable offensive approach designed to maximize consistency and performance. Meet Coach Jack Ferrick: - Co-Founder & CEO of Catchers U® - Over 18 years of experience in the Northern Virginia area - Graduate of Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, VA - Collegiate player at United States Naval Academy - Previously coached at Colonial Forge High School, Freedom (Woodbridge) High School, and Osbourn Park High School Meet Matt Marsh: -Head Baseball Coach at Russell Sage College Athletics with Division I coaching experience at George Mason University, UMBC, University of Maine, and Hendrix College. -Has coached 25 professional players, including MLB standouts Jeremy Peña, Ben Brown, and Cody Laweryson, while recruiting multiple All-Americans, draft picks, and all-conference players. -Known for building winning offenses and player development systems, helping programs achieve record-setting performances in batting average, on-base percentage, stolen bases, and fielding percentage at multiple collegiate stops. -Extensive background in recruiting and player development, Date: Monday July 6th Time: 11:30am - 1:30pm Grades: Rising 6th - 12th Gender: Boys & Girls (Baseball Players) Price: $125 per player Location: Catchers U® | 6781 Kennedy Rd., Suite 7, Warrenton, VA 20187 Topics will include: • Build a repeatable swing through efficient movement patterns and mechanical awareness. • Develop a better offensive approach with a focus on timing, pitch recognition, and quality contact. • Learn training methods and drills used to improve bat speed, consistency, and overall game performance.
