Catchers U® Winter Elite Hitting Camp - High School Players Led by Jack Ferrick and Jeff Baker, the Catchers U® Winter Elite Hitting Camp for High School Players delivers a 3-hour, high-level hitting experience for serious athletes through the Catchers U® curriculum. Combining pro-level expertise with a proven development process, the camp equips hitters to understand their mechanics, refine their swing, and build a repeatable approach that maximizes consistency. Jack Ferrick – CEO, Catchers U® & Player Development Coach Jack is the founder and CEO of Catchers U®, dedicated to developing confident, skilled, and intelligent baseball and softball players. Jack focuses on fundamentals, building repeatable processes, and helping athletes understand the “why” behind every movement. His passion for teaching, paired with a supportive and high-energy coaching style, ensures players leave each session more confident and prepared to succeed at the plate. Jeff Baker – Former MLB Player & Hitting Instructor Baker is an 11-year MLB veteran who starred at Gar-Field High School before becoming one of Clemson University’s all-time greats, holding the school career home run record (59) and ranking second in RBIs (226). A three-time All-American, he earned numerous ACC and national honors and appeared in two College World Series. He also made USA Baseball history as the first American to compete on four national teams (16U, 18U—World Champion, and the 2000 & 2001 Collegiate National Teams). Baker went on to play in the Major Leagues for the Colorado Rockies—including the 2007 World Series—Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, and Miami Marlins. He is a member of both the Gar-Field High School Athletics Hall of Fame (2016) and the Clemson University Athletic Hall of Fame (2018).
